Trip planner questions

What does the trip planner actually do?

You choose a destination, the kind of trip you want and how busy you want it to be. It builds a day-by-day itinerary from 1223 things worth doing across 9 countries, marks what you can book now, and then tells you what you need to sort before you fly - visa, passport validity, insurance, data - for that specific country.

Is it free?

Yes, and there is no sign-up. Some of the activities and services link to partners who pay us a commission if you book; that never changes what the plan recommends, and anything we are not paid for is marked as something to arrange yourself.

How current is the entry-rule information?

Every destination's entry rules are re-read from the official source daily by an automated check, and each page shows the date it was last confirmed. That is the part a general itinerary app cannot tell you.
